Change

So much in our world seems to be changing so quickly & much of it is quite scary but we know that God is indeed with us & will never leave us as orphans.

My favorite scene is that of Peter as he sees Jesus walking on the water & shouts "Lord, if it is You then call me to You". Peter's eyes were on Jesus as he began walking on the water to Him. But then the wind & waves became a distraction frightening Peter so he sank into the water. But as soon as Peter called out for Jesus' help, Jesus reached down & lifted Peter up. This takes a lot of practice (at least for me) as every time I begin focusing on the wind & waves around me I sink into despair. But then Jesus reminds me to redirect my focus back to Him / His Word & when I do He lifts me up & places me back on higher ground. It's easy to lose focus when we see the difficulty of our circumstances but God has a plan & will walk us through it to help others & glorify Him. I pray God help us all keep our focus in Him no matter what we see
